about

Get lost 12345689
This is an example of having stupid fun in the studio. A word association Rorschach test blot of a song. After I had enough coffee in the morning to levitate objects with my mind, I threw this one down and went out to clean the garage and put on some Talking Heads. They so inspired me with their weirdo musicality that I went back in and fired up the Juno keyboard. Now so far I am the only one who likes this track. Everyone just sort of shifts around like they can't quite bear to tell me it sucks.... But I keep playing it in the car over and over and I don't skip over it. I think there must at least one other soul out there that can appreciate what I'm up to here. Let me know what you think. I'll print it up and hang it on my wall. B.

lyrics

What have I lost....here
Loads and loads of free time in a gold mine but you know I can't get off
What have I lost....here
Well you know I was the golden pony right up to the point where I slipped a gear
Some kind of criminal in need
All eyes forward pencils down your at the head of the class and you can't see me
Many hours spent in the face of all these roles and ...static...side by side ounce for ounce I find it problematic
What have I lost here
Piles and piles and piles of shit from steers
What have I lost here
Hmmm you know less and less each and every year.....
And you don't know.. One hand from another
And you sing..sing..Nothin' but the blues
And your king's robe.... Is chewed up to nothing
And the moths ..oh oh are singing to the moon,,,,
They sing 123..4568..9.. They sing one two three four five six eight nine
Believe me
What have I lost... Here
What have I lost here?
What have I lost?
What have I lost here..... Get lost.
